Azhar qualified in 1999 from Guys and ST Thomas’s Hospital with a distinction in Oral surgery and Oral medicine. He then gained extensive experience in Hospital based Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and sedation techniques (sleep dentistry) during which time he completed his Membership exams with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Azhar has over 20 years of experience in placing and restoring Dental Implants and In 2009 he was awarded the prestigious Diploma in Implant dentistry by examination with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

He is a registered mentor in Implant dentistry for the Association of Dental Implantology (UK) and for Dentsply Implants.

Zahid Chowdhry graduated from Guys’ and St. Thomas’s dental hospitals in 2001. Since then, he has been in general practice serving the community with a high level of dentistry. He has also been involved in teaching dentists and so has maintained a high level of skill as well as being up to date with cutting edge dental techniques.


In 2009 he was awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the University of Central Lancashire and he has been providing dental implants since. Due to his success and high standards of work, he is now the lead implantologist in a number of surgeries around the country.
